Summer Stage 6: BLUE BASEMENT / THE SIMPLE MAN

For the 15th time, we celebrate the summer full of music in Bernkastel-Kues. As part of the Sommerbühne Bernkastel-Kues, 10 concerts featuring regional and national artists will take place from June 25 to August 27, 2026, on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission is free and the program is a colorful mix: Rock & Pop, Jazz & Blues, Funk & Soul, Schlager – there should be something for everyone!
Local restaurateurs from the city of Bernkastel-Kues will take care of your well-being.

6:00 p.m.: Blue Basement
The band “Blue Basement” blasts out rock, punk, metal, and everything else that rock music has to offer. What comes across as a cover band turns out to be absolutely authentic and full of passion. Included in the playlist are songs by Green Day, Rage against the Machine, Blur & Foo Fighters.

8:00 p.m.: The Simple Man - Classics of Guitar Rock
“The Simple Man” carries on the legacy of classic guitar rock and spans the range from the founding fathers of the 70s to more recent productions. The motto is “As long as it ROCKS!”
From Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Iron Maiden or AC/DC. “The Simple Man” delivers these songs “In Rock,” robust, authentic, and unfiltered, because: God gave Rock´n´Roll to us!
The repertoire includes, among others, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, DIO, and Thin Lizzy.
Hard rock has successfully resisted all fashions and trends, as the demand for authentic things grows. The more everything is oriented towards rapidity, the greater the demand for the real thing, the classics of guitar rock.
