Summer Stage 9: ROCKABILLY HELLRAISERS / REVENGERS

Rock 'n' roll, petticoats, and 30 years of classic rock – an evening between time travel and timelessness.

For the 15th time, we celebrate summer full of music in Bernkastel-Kues. As part of the Sommerbühne Bernkastel-Kues, 10 concerts featuring regional and national artists will take place from June 25 to August 27, 2026, on Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. Admission is free and the program is a colorful mix: Rock & Pop, Jazz & Blues, Funk & Soul, Schlager – there should be something for everyone!
Your culinary needs will be taken care of by the restaurateurs of the city of Bernkastel-Kues.

6 p.m.: Rockabilly Hellraisers
“Rockabilly Hellraisers” is a three-member Classic Rock'n Roll & Rockabilly band from Meddersheim / Rheinland-Pfalz-Nahetaldelta.
They cover songs by Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, and Carl Perkins, among many other famous names. They also enjoy taking on modern pieces and evergreens from the “newer” era and pursuing them in the garb of rockabilly through their amplifiers. Their own compositions, from ballads to whipsmart backbeat infernos, round off the program. Let yourself be transported on a musical journey back to the era of pastel-colored, chrome-shining street cruisers, soda bars, petticoats, and pomade.

8 p.m.: REVENGERS
The cult band “Revengers” from Zweibrücken impresses with authenticity, professionalism, and a cool rock show.
In addition to international appearances in France, Luxembourg, and Spain, they initially played as a support for stars like Percy Sledge, Suzie Quatro, Tony Sheridan, Middle of the Road, The Sweet, Steppenwolf, to name just a few.
During this time, the band also provided instrumental accompaniment for "Yesterday Man" Chris Andrews for an extended period.
This also led to their first TV appearances, such as in the ZDF Fernsehgarten and the ZDF New Year's Eve show "Silvestertrümpfe" at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
By now, the “Revengers” have developed into one of the best rock cover bands in the Saar-Pfalz region and beyond.
Especially Charly Fottner’s guitar playing and Michell Benzel’s extraordinary rock voice make the band's sound distinct. Michell is more than just a cover singer; with his exceptional voice, he gets even the last audience member to live out their inner rock star in front of the stage.
“Revengers” is 30 years of top-notch rock, rock songs close to the original but always with their unique touch. A rock band from the very beginning that excites both young and older audiences alike and provides the spectators with an unforgettable live experience.
