Ti's Herberge

The old winemaker's house on Weinbergstraße was built in the 19th century, first converted by Grandma Ti in the 1950s, and completely renovated by us from 2020 to 2024. When Grandma Ti died in 2018, we didn’t want to part with her house and looked for a suitable idea to preserve it. Since Grandma Ti always had "guest rooms" and was known for her hospitality, the solution was quite obvious.

We wanted to create a place where the people of Minheim can meet and at the same time offer external guests a new, extraordinary experience. The house should provide an innovative way to spend a vacation in an environmentally and climate-friendly manner and to enjoy vegan meals. Ti's Café opened in September 2022, and the rental of the holiday apartments started in August 2024.

We aim to offer a vacation experience based on fair, sustainable, and ecological principles. Therefore, we paid attention to ecological and sustainable standards during the renovation (heat pump, photovoltaics, low energy) and used building materials that are safe for health (wood, clay...). We source 100% green electricity and use rainwater for toilet flushing. We are certified by Viabono as an environmentally friendly guest business.

Minheim is a small, traditional, and quiet wine village, an ideal starting point to explore the region by bike, on foot, or by boat. Bernkastel-Kues, Wittlich, or Trier are easily reachable. For the duration of your stay, you will receive the VRT guest ticket from us for free use of public transport in the VRT area. If you wish to arrive by train, we are happy to organize a free shuttle service to/from Wittlich main station.

You can bring your dog with you. If you do not have a blanket/dog bed, we are happy to assist. We kindly ask you not to take animals into the beds. THANK YOU!

We provide bedding, towels, and kitchen cloths free of charge and ask for conscious and resource-saving use. Various containers are available for waste separation.

We have a big request to our guests: Please refrain from consuming animals during your stay with us. We want to keep our house free from animal suffering. We hope for your understanding. Our house is smoke-free, and we do not have designated smoking areas.
