MARTIN STADTFELD, one of the defining German pianists of his generation, has also recorded two Christmas albums in the variety of his CD recordings.

The first piece in the selection is rather classical. In the second, he incorporates more nostalgia and a touch of pop, from American Christmas standards to newly arranged chorales. At his concert on the historic grand Steinway concert piano in the Baroque Hall of Kloster Machern, he will perform a selection of these works.
