Tour "The Golden Drops of the Romans"

On this delightful hike through the steep slopes of the world-famous "Piesporter Goldtröpfchen," you will learn where the Romans once pressed their noble drink of the gods.

Along the way, you will taste selected wines directly from the corresponding vineyards and immerse yourself deeply in the history of viticulture during Roman times. The crowning highlight is a visit to the Roman Pressing Facility from the 3rd century a.d. – a unique testament to ancient wine culture on the Moselle. Here, you will learn how the facility once worked and how the Romans lived and enjoyed life. The traditional Roman wine Mulsum and Moretum – a delicious fresh cheese made according to an original Roman recipe – will be served.

This is an outing for everyone who wishes to connect nature, history, and enjoyment in a special way.
