In the once historic wine tavern, which is also the oldest wine tavern in Germany, you will now find our romantic restaurant ‘anno 1640’. Here we spoil you evening after evening with real flavour experiences. Whether it's freshly caught trout - prepared according to a recipe from the fourth generation - a fresh, seasonal gourmet menu or the daily changing three-course fairytale menu: our chefs know how to conjure up incomparable dishes that will tantalise your taste buds. At lunchtime, too, the chef presents you with daily changing lunch specials if you're in a hurry. In the summer months, you can enjoy the flair of the medieval old town with a good Moselle Riesling on the outdoor terrace.
