In the holiday resort Ürzig you will find the Schmitz winery. The Riesling vine is mainly cultivated on the steep slopes of the Moselle.
The wine gains a very special note due to the cultivation on slate rock. You can taste the fine wines at a wine tasting, preferably accompanied by typical Moselle dishes. Or you can stay overnight at the family's guesthouse and spend your Moselle holiday with the winemaker.
